A contract manager will normally manage the project manager and take on larger projects. 

Contract management jobs involve:

- Planning, procuring, organising all labour, materials, meeting project plans and ensuring financial targets are met
- Compliance of M&E Installations with design, quality and installation standards
- Ensuring operational activities comply with Contractual, QA and legal requirements
- Developing relationships with clients; managing, motivating and developing staff
- Managing a system of costs and work/quality control ie QS, expenses on all projects controlled.
- Review drawings, ensuring they are appropriate and comply with the client's brief

Excellent remuneration for contract management jobs

To succeed in contract management jobs, you may have been a senior project manager with experience of running multiple, high value projects. You will not be fazed by big budgets and your client-facing skills will be exemplary. The financial rewards and bonuses for early completion  / high profit margins are excellent. Your technical skills would need to be up to scratch (mechanical, electrical or building services qualifications ie HNC/degree.
