- Build relationships with clients for business leads.
To succeed in business development jobs, you need to be target driven and customer focused. Your communications skills need to be sharp as you will be regularly involved in meetings and negotiation. Typical entrants typically come from project management background (knowledge of project execution), experience in manufacturing (product knowledge), or prior sales experience. Business development jobs are commission based with a company car provided.
